would someone please comment on favorite points to put in a kayak and who to call for portage/ride back to car? thanks. never been on the smith
My favorite runs are Philpott Dam to North Bassett and Marrowbone to Mitchell Bridge. I typically use the buddy system when paddling for shuttling vehicles but when paddling solo you can pay for shuttle services from Three River Outfitters and Smith River Junction.
